Hubby got laid off today.
He's happy. I'm bawling & on the verge of getting sick.
If he's crying wolf again (yeah, sometimes he thinks he's funny), I'm going to puke on him and maybe that will straiten out his sense of humor.

And if he's playing a joke...kick his ass!
We'll be ok. It's just scary. The ridiculous thing is that our cobra will be $140 less each month than what he was putting out for gas, so we'll actually be slightly ahead with his unemployment!
P.S. - A belated thank you for the postcards - I'm slow on the return side but I'm getting there!
How are you doing? I was thinking about you.
My best friend recently got laid off. It is scary. My husband got laid off about 12 years ago, and it was a relief to me, but it was down in the dumps when it happened. He worked for an oil company at the time, and that constantly threatened to laid them off. It was worrisome with that cloud always hanging over your head. Eventually, he got a job with the University of Pennsylvania.....free tuition for the kids after you work there 10 years, so there is a silver lining.
Hang in there, and if he gets too lazy sitting around the house, well you are familiar with the cute tush...just give him a little kick in it!
