You betchya we are! High 90s yesterday, the same today and through Wednesday! It is 10:44pm and 83 degrees with 70 percent humidity!!! Not a bad time to be under Doctors orders to rest and take it easy! My strep infection started to go into the lining of my lungs, something called pleuracy. It is very painful and can make breathing difficult too, not to mention already being run down from the strep infection and having my Monthly Visitor! Oh, this pic was taken this afternoon when I ventured outside to see how all of my flowers and veggies are doing in this heat! It is 1 bloom on my Rosa Radcon Pink Knockout Rose.
Welcome to my post! To visit other participants, please head over to the Practical Magic Blog Party 2010 blog. I must say that while I think Practical Magic the movie is adorable, I think the novel is incredible. And that is where I gleaned my inspiration from for these festivities. Gardens are mysterious, magical and enchanting, don't you think? Now follow me out into the garden, I have everything all ready for you, including music! (Turn your volume on). *Update: Music has reverted to my regular Fall soundtrack, 9/28/2010* For all of you non Practical Magic Blog Party folks, head on over to NJ Through My Eyes where I've posted 2 new slide-shows today; one is a preview of a new project I'm working on!

We have finally warmed up here in the middle of the country, too. With 90 degree days and nights in the 70's, my tomato plants are growing by leaps and bounds. The downside of the heat is rain and more rain. We've got floods to the south, east and west. And some VERY close to my home. I've been pretty lucky so far. I think my underwater potato garden is the only casualty.
Your vacation spot sounds divine!
