Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

A big Winter storm has started here and we're in the 12"-18" of snow fall area of it! I've already taken some lovely photo's of the Cardinals at the feeder out back which I'll post a bit later. Sis.in.law's flight for today out to Philly was canceled so we'll try again for Monday. Getting ready to go for a walk in the woods before the worst of this hits!

If I don't have to go anywhere for a few days, I don't mind the snow. But a week after we got a foot of snow, there is still hardly room to get two cars up and down the residential streets and then I really grow to hate the snow.

Jo...I am waiting for your pictures!! I am sitting at the kitchen table with the back door open right now! It is nice today....supposed to get up to about 70, but I just miss the snow; the peaceful feeling that comes with it for me! Hope you have a great weekend! Me...trying to finish up with all the Christmas to do's!

(Though it didn't post at 12:01am like it was supposed to). Anyhoo, I'm home and resting (uncomfortably). Surgery went well, my kidney tube and stone are gone! I have an internal stent on the left hand side but I'm okay with that because it comes out in the doctor's office in 2-3 weeks (no back to the hospital) and especially because it meant they could take that nephrostomy tube out! 2nd Annual Practical Magic Blog Party 2011 is Here! *Updated*

It's time for the 2nd Annual Practical Magic Blog Party created & hosted by the wonderful Anna of Frosted Petunias ! My sincerest apologies for getting this up rather late! The adventure that is post Hurricane Irene cleanup & repairs has been taking up too much time recently. (sigh) Things are a mess; I only started decorating for Autumn yesterday and I'm missing Halloween decorations! Luckily my broom is always safe and sound by the front door so at least I don't have to wonder where it is. (Not that it hasn't been known to scamper off now and again - naughty broom).
