Wednesday in Pics

This is how I start my mornings, after breakfast. If I'm sick or in a lot of pain (like this morning), there are more to take. I do this 4 times a day in order to take all of my meds & supplements each day (similiar amount of pills each time), on top of my 3 hour i.v. treatments at home every 8 weeks - and all of the other stuff I need to do every day to try & function as normal as possible. Some days it's really cumbersum and exhausting to live like this (today's one of those days) but it's part of the lot in life God has chosen for me so what else can I do but bear it? (Can't always grin & bear it).

My Dad has a similar routine as a diabetic. My Grandmother is even worse. I couldn't imagine having to take all those pills. I'm not sure what you are taking them for but I hope your body conquers whatever it is. =)

Hi Jo
Said from the heart. It is such a b----having to endlessly take medication just to get some quality of life. People say to me oh! antibiotics for two years that's so bad for you. Well compared with my illness Lyme Disease they have produced a miraculous cure sadly it has taken so long. Hopefully soon I will be able to stop the medication I can't wait although my specialist did say almost certainly my symptoms will returne and I will have to go back on treatment.

(Though it didn't post at 12:01am like it was supposed to). Anyhoo, I'm home and resting (uncomfortably). Surgery went well, my kidney tube and stone are gone! I have an internal stent on the left hand side but I'm okay with that because it comes out in the doctor's office in 2-3 weeks (no back to the hospital) and especially because it meant they could take that nephrostomy tube out! 2nd Annual Practical Magic Blog Party 2011 is Here! *Updated*

It's time for the 2nd Annual Practical Magic Blog Party created & hosted by the wonderful Anna of Frosted Petunias ! My sincerest apologies for getting this up rather late! The adventure that is post Hurricane Irene cleanup & repairs has been taking up too much time recently. (sigh) Things are a mess; I only started decorating for Autumn yesterday and I'm missing Halloween decorations! Luckily my broom is always safe and sound by the front door so at least I don't have to wonder where it is. (Not that it hasn't been known to scamper off now and again - naughty broom).
