Currently reading Wintering by Katherine May.



This book kept showing up on my radar, but it wasn't until I read a piece in Country Living UK magazine by Katherine that I decided to take the plunge with Wintering.



I've been taking my time with this book, reading it throughout this month. I'm actually a big fan of the winter season, and not at all of summertime. So in essence, summer is my winter. But no matter the time of year, we all go through wintering.



Barely into the first few pages of this book I recommended it to two of my best friends because the Winter season is hard for them and I knew immediately this book could help. It's also giving me the permission I didn't know I needed to proudly revel in my love for Wintertime.



I'll finish this evening.

2009 Halloween Fete! (Saturday October 17, 2009) **UPDATED!** This shindig is still going strong!

Welcome! I'm so happy to have had so many visitors already! I must apologize for not being ready for you earlier! I also apologize for the wacky font sizes throughout my post. A Walk Through The (Dis)Enchanted Forrest (Halloween Party Post)

(Though it didn't post at 12:01am like it was supposed to). Anyhoo, I'm home and resting (uncomfortably). Surgery went well, my kidney tube and stone are gone! I have an internal stent on the left hand side but I'm okay with that because it comes out in the doctor's office in 2-3 weeks (no back to the hospital) and especially because it meant they could take that nephrostomy tube out!
