Jersey Girls Have The Best Tomato's

I actually put a bumper sticker on our suv which says just that. (Hubby shouldn't have pointed it out to me if he didn't want me to start partaking in his bumper sticker fetish. A fellow Marine gave me one which says "I have one of the Few Good Men" for shits & giggles because he knew I'd put it on the suv).

Anyhoo, Summer Tomato's are finally coming off the vine. Yay! A little worried I don't see anymore tiny yellow flowers on the plants but I'm going to remain optimistic.

Thanks Sarah! The local grocery store up by our weekend place makes the best tomato cuke salad I've ever had - now I really want some, lol!

I had no idea the tomatoes were out. I'll be in Jersey next week and have to remember to stop at the farm market for some. How is the corn?

Mandy, I've had over a dozen off the vine already and looks like a new crop is starting on 2 of the 3 plants. I have to look into making salsa and sauce with these. They are delicious.

(Though it didn't post at 12:01am like it was supposed to). Anyhoo, I'm home and resting (uncomfortably). Surgery went well, my kidney tube and stone are gone! I have an internal stent on the left hand side but I'm okay with that because it comes out in the doctor's office in 2-3 weeks (no back to the hospital) and especially because it meant they could take that nephrostomy tube out! (The last nearly 2 weeks of that 15 weeks was rough with that thing, my body was simultaneously trying to heal aroun
