Sex and the City! (Cue Girly squeals & screams!)

when i get the hankering, i pick up the sunday new york times. i hit pay dirt this past sunday! nearly a full page article (spread over 2 pages) about the upcoming Sex and the City MOVIE! (cue girly squeals & screams!) it's set to come out in may of 2008 (cue girly squeals & screams!) and will be a long over due fix, but it's only going to make me miss the show even more! and i do SO miss this show! sure, i've got every season on dvd and i enjoy rewatching the series, but, as corny & looser-ish this may sound, it became a part of me & my life because i enjoy it so much and it's so inspiring to me and i just didn't want it to end as soon as it did! (for me it was soon since i didn't start watching it until 2001 or so! i'm not one who wants to jump on the band wagon & it was such a big thing that i resisted it until a former co-worker assumed that i watched & loved the show gave me seasons 2 & 3 on dvd!) am i the only one so l...

in response to writingtime.net's now what, the sixth week of class post, i wrote the following: (as jo, not gardeningjo) "i haven't done your 6 wk class from here yet ~ i have saved each wks assignements & background because i am going to do it. i'm just having a tough time lately having been sick for over 2 months now with an infection that just keeps moving from place to place instead of going away! i've also been such a bundle of nerves & panick attacks since i found out the wk before last that my social security disability hearing has been scheduled for 12/11! my motor skills have been cumbersome lately and typing has been very difficult because i have to pay more attention to what i'm typing as i type it because i can't trust my head & hands to get things out in plain correct english! i'm exhausted to tears & frustrated and focusing on any one thing just seems impossible lately. so very hard. my girlfriend & i were talking abou...

regret, embarrasment, fear...

not sure how this will come out ~ the font & text color options are missing from my new post page here. last night hubby & i went to the local watering hole for some drinks before dinner. the problem is that when we've done this BEFORE dinner on a few occassions, some drinks turns into more than either one of us can usually remember, we never end up eating dinner, etc.. but last night i was going shots of 'washington apple' ~ i very, very rarely do shots. i started slowing way down with the drinks around 11:30pm to make sure 1 of us would be able to drive home. i wanted to get the chinese food menu from our friend who was bartending but she had way too much to drink & wouldn't give them to me. i think getting annoyed started sobering me up more than anything. that & when hubby told me he had to go next door to the atm for more cash. for crissakes we'd had $100 on us when we walked in! we also had at least 5 or 6 comp drinks each, so how in go...

(that was supposed to have started last night!) update: the temp has dropped 11 degree's in less than an hour, down from 61' and it did shower for a bit!
