30 Days of Thanksgiving Day 5

Today I'm thankful for feeling so content after getting the rest of the Halloween decorations boxed up and purging the book cases of books that I do want to read, but know I'm not going to read any time soon. (All of which starts getting carted down to the basement tomorrow thanks to Hubb's. In the process I also dusted (much to the chagrin of my allergies) so everything looks clean and decluttered. I did a lot but paced myself and used the office chair so I was sitting most of the time - still sick/getting over being sick).

That's the problem with allergies. You've got to dust to keep down the dust but the dusting itself is so hard on the allergies. I guess that's what's called a conundrum.

Silly (aka stupid) me always forgets to take an allergy pill Before cleaning but today I made sure to take one first thing. (I really should know better, if I have a bad allergy attack that I can't get under control, I end up getting sick).

2009 Halloween Fete! (Saturday October 17, 2009) **UPDATED!** This shindig is still going strong!

(Though it didn't post at 12:01am like it was supposed to). Anyhoo, I'm home and resting (uncomfortably). Surgery went well, my kidney tube and stone are gone! I have an internal stent on the left hand side but I'm okay with that because it comes out in the doctor's office in 2-3 weeks (no back to the hospital) and especially because it meant they could take that nephrostomy tube out!
